Christina is a compassionate, client-centred therapist supporting adults through life transitions and mental health challenges. She uses evidence-based approaches like CBT, ACT, and Mindfulness, and is certified in Virtual Reality Graded Exposure Therapy and trained in TF-CBT. Her work is research-informed, with published studies in social work, communications, and intimate partner violence.

Dennise Lattibeaudiere

Dennise is a dedicated Social Worker with over a decade of experience helping individuals heal and thrive after trauma and life-changing events. She holds degrees in Critical Social Work and a Master of Social Work, bringing expertise and compassion to her work in public and private healthcare. Known for her respectful, person-centred approach, Dennise recognizes the full humanity behind every diagnosis.

Lavinia Hoff

Lavinia supports children, teens, and adults through trauma, anxiety, depression, and chronic pain using evidence-based and holistic therapies. She creates a compassionate, client-centred space tailored to each person, incorporating art and play for younger clients. Drawing from EMDR, CBT, Somatic Therapy, and XRHealth, Lavinia blends body-based and cognitive-behavioral strategies.

Sydney McDowell

Sydney McDowell (she/her) is a board-certified Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner, Certified Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse providing holistic primary care, mental health and ADHD assessments, and care for motor vehicle injuries. She worked with marginalized communities extensively and is committed to bridging health gaps through evidence-based, patient-centred care.

The consultation is a no-pressure conversation to get to know you and your needs.   This is also an opportunity for you to share any questions or concerns and discover whether our approach feels right for you—with absolutely no pressure or obligation.

Absolutely. Your privacy is important to us.

What can I come to therapy for?

You can come to therapy for a wide range of reasons; there’s no “right” or “wrong” issue. We support adults dealing with stress, burnout, anxiety, low self-esteem, shame, grief, relationship struggles, identity questions, life transitions, and the mental impact of chronic health conditions. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply not like yourself, therapy can help you make sense of what’s going on and find a way forward.

Is the first consultation paid?

We offer a free initial consultation to ensure the best possible therapeutic relationship from the start. This no-obligation meeting allows you to share what you’re looking for in a therapist, ask questions about their approach, and discuss your concerns in a pressure-free environment. It’s equally important for us to understand your unique needs and determine if we’re the right fit for your mental health journey.

This initial session helps establish trust and rapport, which are essential foundations for effective therapy. How do payments and insurance work?

We offer transparent pricing, sliding scale options, and payment plans. Some insurance plans may cover sessions, and we’re happy to guide you through that process

Our therapists are extensively trained in evidence-based trauma modalities, including EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Somatic Therapy, IFS (Internal Family Systems), and CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy). Additionally, our clinical team is proficient in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Exposure Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, and numerous other specialized therapeutic approaches. We collaborate closely with you to identify and implement the treatment modality that best aligns with your individual needs, preferences, and therapeutic goals, ensuring a personalized and effective healing experience.

How often should I come to therapy?

Initially, we recommend weekly sessions to provide consistent momentum toward achieving your therapeutic objectives. Your therapist will collaborate with you to determine the appropriate timing for transitioning to less frequent appointments as progress is made and goals are met.

How many sessions does it take to start seeing results?

The number of therapy sessions varies significantly for each individual, as treatment duration depends on your specific concerns, goals, and personal circumstances. Psychotherapy can range from short-term focused work to longer-term exploration spanning months or years, depending on the depth of insight and change you wish to achieve through the therapeutic process.

What is your cancellation policy?

We require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice for appointment cancellations. Sessions cancelled with less than 24 business hours’ notice, as well as no-shows, will incur the full session fee.
